Carl Ljungberg, P.Eng., an accomplished fan engineer, started CH Ljungberg in 1979 after taking over the office of Werner Goldman that spanned back to the mid 1940's. CH Ljungberg covered the southwestern Ontario market for Canadian Blower fans and Canada Pumps.
In 2000 Carl retired and passed on this long established rep office for HVAC and custom heavy duty fans and Canada Pumps to Neil Fraser, P.Eng., Marcel Kamutzki, P.Eng., and Jim Wywrot, P.Eng..
In 2001 a second office was opened in Toronto under the operating name Canadian Buffalo Equipment Sales to cover the Toronto market.
In 2007 the operating trade name was changed to CB Power and Industrial to better reflect the line up of products that includes dampers and expansion joints by Flextor, air cooled heat exchangers by Smithco Eng., Ljungstrom airpreheaters by Air Preheater Company, multi-stage blowers by HSI, wet and dry electrostatic precipitators by Weis, as well as thermal oxidizers (RTOs) by PEI and steam turbines by Mechanology (formerly Nestco)
